Overall a good start to the 2019 campaign. Practice was successful with a competitive field. With a DNF in the second heat, I managed to get into top 10 after starting 14th. Grabbed 68 points for championship.

Maxxis TKM Festival 2018, Among the country’s best.

Friday Practice: Only 1 dry session and for the rest of the day it was a washout.

Saturday: Qualifying 14th out of 34 less than 0.5 seconds off pole.

Heat 1: Started 17th to Finish 15th with PB Lap of 43.8s

Heat 2: Started 34th a quarter of a lap behind the pack and finished 23rd with PB Lap of 43.6s.

Sunday:

Heat 3: Started 18th and finished 12th with a PB lap of 43.6s

Pre Final: Started 30th in the Elite group (Top 34 in the country), Did Not Finish due to mechanical failure. PB lap of 43.5s

Elite Final: Started 34th and finished 16th as recovery drive with PB lap of 43.3s.

TKM Festival was a success to a degree . I was in the leading pack in the majority of the weekend and was pacey as well. Got down to 43.1s which was 0.3s off the fastest. I finished 11th out of 34 in the Festival Cup final.

I feel that the 2016 campaign wasn’t the best season of my career or not as good as 2015. I started the season in mid February at Rye House for a Pre-Season test and then 2 days later competed at Kimbolton for the second round of the championship, with a good start to the season. Throughout the season, I had ups and downs, nearly set the lap record at Ellough Park at the end of the season, I finished 6th in the HKRC Jnr TKM Championship. Bring on 2017

On Sunday 13th November, at Kimbolton, was the penultimate round of 2016 HKRC Club Champs. I feel that next season will be very different. I am currently 6th in the championship, with 773 points, hopefully with one more round to go I can find more in the bag to crawl up the order. Heat 1: Started 2nd, Finished 14th. On lap 1, I got loaded and put onto the grass and dropped to 20th, and managed in the end to crawl up to 14th in the end, but not the result that I wanted. Heat 2: Started 21st, Finished 13th. Just had a decent drive and cruise to 13th, and still had more in the tank to climb up further the field...

The October race meeting at Kimbolton was not the finest hour for me. With disappointing race results and performance it was breaking point for me. Hopefully, I can come back fighting for the last rounds for the season. My website will be updated soon.

Not a bad weekend at Kimbolton for the Maxxis TKM Festival 2016. I managed to get into the Elite Final group, the top 34 out of 51 drivers. I finished 25th in the elite final, which makes the 25th best out of 51 drivers. That was my last TKM Festival in the Junior class, as from 2017 I will be moving Senior TKM. There are only 4 more rounds left of the HKRC Club Championship. TV coverage will air on 5th September 2016 at 7.30pm on Motors TV and will also be on Youtube. Another year has come around again for the Maxxis TKM Festival. It will be at Kimbolton, and I will be competing there this year, 12th-14th August 2016.
