This weekend at the East Anglian Trophy Meeting wasn’t the best at all. Saturday, was disappointing as I had no raw pace to compete with, which was embarrassing. I scored 101 points on Saturday, throughout the day I couldn’t find the right setup which meant, I had no pace to compete with the top 5. Sunday, was a bit than Saturday with scoring 102 points. However, mechanical issues was the main let down for me. In Pre-Final, on lap 6 I was forced to retire from the carburettor unscrewing itself, which caused a lot of air going into the engine and then switched off the engine. This situation resulted in a DNF, so for the Final I had to start at the back of the grid. In the Final I climbed to 8th with a bad setup and with a shower of rain in the last 3 minutes of the final...

I couldn’t have asked for better result at Ellough Park Raceway on my debut at that track. Being 2nd quickest really shows the pace I had for the weekend. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to have the outright pace to win because a lack of setup of the track. I will be out next at Kimbolton for the East Anglian Trophy Meeting and hopefully would like to bring home a trophy from the weekend.

I’m next out at Ellough Park Raceway, on 21st May. This will be the first for me at Ellough Park, as I have never been there to race, so it will be a great challenging experience for me. I hope to bring a trophy from Ellough Park. I am limited on my racing for the next month because I am doing my GCSE’s this year, and education is top priority for me at the moment, after the exams I will be racing more.

Unfortunately, at the April race meeting I suffered from Carburettor issues throughout the weekend. But gained 85 points from the weekend. I will be next racing at Ellough Park Raceway, Nr Beccles. I have decided to race at Ellough instead of Kimbolton because there is no race at Kimbolton in May. However, I am thinking of doing a test day before the next event, it really depends on budget and time. For this weekend, I’m at Kimbolton for Round 4 of the HKRC Championship, with TKM Interclub, hoping for bigger grids in TKM Classes. I am aiming to get more points back for the championship. Follow me on snapchat: eliodal and instagram: eliodal23 .

Well this month had a lot of up’s and down’s and I meant one minute I was having good results and then the next minute going the opposite way. With the engine performing better and better, pace to the leaders closing all of the time. Unfortunately, in the final I got excluded, front fairing issues, so I only scored 54 points, instead of 85 points which is costly for the championship, however I will move on from this and come back at the next round.

This weekend I’m at Kimbolton for Round 3 of the Hunts Kart Racing Club Championship. I will be aiming for a trophy finish on Sunday. I can’t wait for this weekend. What a great comeback to TKM after the 2 month winter break of no racing. I scored 78 points with competitive grid at Kimbolton with a rebuilt engine with little running-in, meant it wasn’t producing full potential power. For results, go to results page. Well, what a year of me, so many ups and downs. But, at the last round I took 4th place in the championship by point. I would like to thank my dad, my mechanic, Tal-Ko Racing, Elite Virtual Racing and many more people for this year’s achievement in Jnr TKM at HKRC Champs. Over the coming up weeks I will post the 2016 calendar and plans for me, for next year.
